Natural growth, not the race for numbers
In the digital world, we talk a lot about “scaling”, about lifting, about exponential growth.
But in the field, growing up too quickly often means losing what makes a team valuable: cohesion, rigor and quality.
At Scroll, we chose a different path.
Not that of artificial growth, but that of the right pace, dictated by the projects, the meetings and the trust that our customers place in us.
When the agency was born, we were a small team of design and low-code enthusiasts with a clear idea: create useful, solid and well-thought-out digital products.
What changes when an agency grows (and what you don't want to lose)
Today, Scroll has 15 people, surrounded by external collaborators who support us on a daily basis.
But this evolution is not limited to a number.
What has really changed is the structure, expertise and depth of each division.
We strengthened our skills in UX/UI, automation, low-code development and product strategy.
Each new talent brings a vision, and it is this mix that feeds our high standards.
However, we have set ourselves three safeguards, three simple principles that serve as a compass:
- Proximity to our customers. Even with more projects, we want each customer to feel that their product is unique.
- Simplicity in our processes. Growth should not be cumbersome. We optimize, we automate, but we keep a fluid and human approach.
- The desire to create useful products. Digital technology is only valuable if it solves a real problem, improves an experience or simplifies a business.
It is this mixture of rigor and common sense that makes, I think, our difference in a market that is often obsessed with speed.
Growth and vision: low-code as a lever, not as an end
Low-code has been our foundation from the start.
Not because it's fashionable, but because it allows you to get to the point: designing concrete solutions that are quick to deploy, without sacrificing quality.
But over time, we understood that our job was not “to do low-code”.
Our job is To make a product, and to use the right tool for every need.
Whether it's Webflow, Plasmic, Make or a homemade API, the important thing is the basic logic: design sustainable systems.
It is this product-first vision, then technological, that has allowed us to grow without losing our DNA.
Lesson learned:
True growth is not that which is measured in the number of customers or employees, but that which reinforces quality, cohesion and the clarity of vision.
What that says about the digital market today
The market is changing rapidly.
Agencies are exploding, merging, repositioning themselves.
But all too often, growth becomes an end in itself, to the detriment of human relationships and the relevance of projects.
At Scroll, we see that businesses, SMEs and startups alike, are now looking for something else: a trusted partner, not just a provider.
Someone who understands their job and who knows how to turn an idea into a tool that really works.
It is in this position that we want to continue to grow: by staying close, by remaining useful, and by remaining curious.
And now?
Our adventure is only accelerating, yes.
But not because you want to “gain weight.”
Because we want Do better.
And if growth follows, so much the better, it's a sign that the method is working.
Scroll today is that:
- 15 people, several areas of expertise (Design, Development, Development, Automation, Marketing, SEO)
- A strong product culture, focused on efficiency and clarity
- A simple ambition: to help businesses build smart, useful and sustainable digital tools
